It was a pleasure working with Colm and his team at Act Fast Waterproofing. From start to finish, Colm was professional, honest, and took the time to explain every step of the process.

We needed waterproofing for our basement in East York. The original plan was to complete exterior waterproofing, but due to the unstable soil constantly caving in, that approach wasn't possible. Colm quickly assessed the situation, explained our options clearly, and expertly pivoted to an interior waterproofing solution. Throughout the entire project, he was transparent, knowledgeable, and honest about what needed to be done.

The work was completed on time, the job site was kept clean, and the quality of the workmanship was excellent. Colm also installed our sump pump and walked us through the process of applying for the City rebate, which was incredibly helpful.

What really stood out was how kind and courteous he was. He took the time to explain everything patiently to my elderly parents, making sure they understood the work and felt comfortable throughout the project.

I would absolutely use Act Fast Waterproofing again if needed and highly recommend Colm to anyone dealing with basement waterproofing issues. His expertise and experience in the East York area are evident, and he truly goes above and beyond for his customers. Thanks again, Colm!!

Colm and his team were fantastic from the moment I called them. He arrived the same day that I called to review what needed to be done and was extremely flexible on the days he could come as I needed to coordinate his work around other work that needed to be done before and afterwards. He was very responsive to calls and text messages too. He was knowledgeable and honest with his advice and pricing. His workmanship was top notch, keeping the impact to a minimum and was very conscious of the fact we had two young kids in the house. He completed interior basement waterproofing for us and I would definitely use him again when we get exterior waterproofing done in the near future. He has lots of experience working in our area of leslieville where there are lots of older brick homes which may need unique solutions. I would highly recommend him for any basement waterproofing you need done or advice on what options you have. This is his livelihood and his business and so making sure customers are satisfied and happy is what keeps his business thriving. Thanks Colm and team for all the work you did and I look forward to working with you again!

Colm helped us fix an issue we had with water leaking through an old stone foundation and causing some minor flooding. He came credentials and insurance in hand to assess our problem, had a reasonable approach and took the time to explain in detail how he would solve our issue and a firm quote as well (we had other contractors come and give us wide ranges). We are thrilled with the quality of the work and so far we haven't had any issues with water since. Colm and Mike went above and beyond to help me compact the bedding for a fallen paver outside my foundation as well and gave me some strategies to help mitigate the water around our foundation.

We highly recommend Colm and his team!

Colm and Michael did an amazing job. They were honest, clear about what they were doing and patient with all of my questions. From the first contact discussing the scope of damage water had done to my home, I felt reassured that I was in good hands. I can’t recommend them more strongly.

Colm and his team did a fantastic job with our basement after a recent flood.

They were very efficient, in and out in 2 days while delivering quality work. Very fair price and they helped provide guidance on how to get our government rebate for the sump pump installation.

Highly recommend.
