Peter from Island Basements was the only contractor to look at our problem and respond with a confident viable solution. He was supportive through all the work and we couldn’t be happier with our new dry, secure crawl space.

Peter at Island Basements was an absolute pleasure – he truly delivered beyond all expectations. What immediately sets Peter apart is his unwavering punctuality, communication, and his remarkably refined mannerisms. In an industry where trust can often feel elusive, Peter's word is his bond; it's a refreshing, genuinely 'old school' commitment that speaks volumes.
From start to finish, Peter handled my mother's flood issue seamlessly. What could have been an incredibly stressful ordeal became an effortless and reassuring experience. Peter demonstrated immense respect, maintained an impeccably clean worksite, and managed every aspect with seamless communication and a truly gentlemanly business approach.
For seniors or anyone who approaches the idea of hiring a contractor with trepidation or fear of being taken advantage of, your search ends here. Peter is a rare gem in his field, a professional who perfectly embodies how a truly reputable business should operate. He is absolutely wonderful, and without a doubt, he will not just meet but profoundly exceed your expectations! Peter, you are just an incredible human.....thank you again!

We had Island Basement Systems do a seismic upgrade of our house while our basement was being renovated. Peter was extremely helpful with information and getting us an accurate quote. The work was done on-time, and we found the price to be reasonable. The team that did the installation did a thorough job and left us with a tidy space. Very pleased!

A dead sump pump, a rainy forecast, and Christmas 6 days away is a stinker. The team kindly squeezed us in and sorted us out with a new pump and very helpful maintenance info. Efficient, helpful, and kind: that's what you can expect from the team at Island Basement Systems.

The representative was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He gave us advice regarding the moisture in our basement and did not recommend expensive fixes. He gave us practical advice free of charge for what we could try, even though it did not involve Island Basement services. I am a civil engineer and I could tell that he had in-depth technical knowledge on waterproofing and building envelopes.
